AI Disclosure
Version v1.1 · Effective 2026-06-29
This is a plain-English explanation of what STEADION's AI does with your data. It is a
user-facing summary of our internal AI governance.
What Our AI Does
STEADION's AI helps you analyze fit, generate career content (resume bullets, cover
letters, outreach), coach you for interviews, and enrich job opportunities. Each of these
is a consent class you control in Settings → AI Privacy — turn any of them off and the
matching AI features stop for your account.
Which Providers Process Your Data
We route AI requests to two providers under contract:
- Anthropic — analysis, generation, and coaching.
- OpenAI — extraction and job-relevance scoring.
All AI traffic originates from STEADION's backend over encrypted connections. Your data is
never sent directly from your browser to a provider, and we never send government ID
numbers to any AI provider.
AI Output Is Generated, Never Fabricated
Our AI is grounded in your real experience. It never invents jobs, employers, skills,
or accomplishments you did not have (this is our "Rule 2"). AI-generated text is a draft
based on your actual career data — always review it before you rely on it.
Your Data Is Not Used to Train Models
We use providers' enterprise/API tiers and do not permit your data to be used to train
their foundation models. Where zero-data-retention options are available, we use them.
Audit and Control
Every AI call is logged for accountability without storing the full content of your data.
You can export a summary of your AI activity from Settings → Privacy & Data, and you can
revoke any AI consent at any time.
